Charlie Landsborough was reared in the dockland area of Birkenhead and the view from his front window was a mixture of docks, dumps, railway lines, oil factories and the coal wharf. But from that unpromising beginning he became one of the most engaging country music stars in the British Isles. In a wide-ranging special interview Charlie Landsborough looks back on his roots with Sean Coyle.
