STRATHFOYLE YOUTH DO ONE THING FOR NATURE

Throughout March various groups within the Strathfoyle Community have been working in partnership to clean up the area. On 12th March Strathfoyle Library and Primary 7 children did a community clean up in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Derry City Council. Members of the Maydown Community Group also helped out on the day.

On 14th March members of Strathfoyle Youth Forum cleaned up Lough Enagh. The Youth Forum is keen to see more people visit as it is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Youth Forum want to preserve the wildlife, develop countryside recreation and improve access to that the area can be enjoyed by everyone in the wider community.

Their Strathfoyle Spring Environment clean up campaign will continue with a bulky household lift, facilitated by Derry City Council, on 1st April.

Robert from Plumbridge: How many people are there in Northern Ireland who are suppose to have a supply, but have poor connection? I am only supplied with water 50% of the time.
