St Malachy's a magical home for wildlife.
Welcome to St Malachy's Primary School Whitecross
in Co Armagh, where the children have been very busy creating
a wildlife haven in the school grounds. The school took
up the Breathing Places challenge and with funding from
the Big Lottery Fund they were able to turn their school
grounds into a home for everything from frogs to sparrows.
Along with building homes for the local wildlife, the children
have learned about different types of our feathered friends
through a spot of bird watching.

staff from St Malachy's Primary School, Whitecross broadcast
in May 2009 on Your Place and Mine.
