DUMPED

Derry City has been dumped out of the League of Ireland after being accused of giving players secondary unofficial contracts. Derry City has rejected this and has now begun the fight to get reinstated - a fight which could end up in court. The FAI also has refused to pay Derry City 80,000E in prize money. Derry's battle for survival began at a press conference at Brandywell stadium and Enda McClafferty was there. His report begins with the club solicitor Des Doherty.
