Are your OB units Widescreen capable?
Yes

How much experience do our crews have?
We have excellent crews, experienced in drama, LE, sport, news and current affairs and classical music programmes. The CV's of some of our staff are available on this site.

What is the maximum number of cameras on each OB Unit?
NI 2 can take up to 16 Cameras
NI 3 can take up to 3 Cameras


Can we provide a Jimmy Jib or Camera Crane?
Yes we have a scanner elite camera crane available for hire

Do we have minicams ?
Yes we have minicams, they are regularly used on Sport OB's. Nationally the BBC can supply many different types of specialist cameras.

How many channels do the sound desks have?
NI 2 has 48 channels
NI 3 has 16 channels

How many channels on the vision mixer?
NI 2 has an XTen DD mixer
NI 3 has a Digital Diamond 10 Channel mixer

What are the communications capabilities?
All our OB units have comprehensive talkback facilities including Duplex Production Radio Talkback

Are we able to provide a mobile VT?
VT record and playback facilities are provided onboard the OB units and can be configured to suit your requirements.
