TV Studio - Frequently Asked Questions :




What size are the Studios?
Studio A is approx. 6000 square feet
Studio B is approx. 2000 square feet
Studio 1 is approx. 2200 square feet


How many dressing rooms do they have?
Studio A has 7 dressing rooms, 1 makeup costume room and 1 green room.
Studio B has 1 makeup room and 1 green room.

Are the studios widescreen capable?
Studio A is a drive in studio and is widescreen capable when used with an appropriate OB unit.
Studio B is Widescreen capable.


Do the studio's have audience seating and if so for how many?
Studio A has seating for 290 and additional seating can be hired in as necessary.

Do all the studio's have prompting equipment?
Prompting kits are available, and are moved between Studios as required.

Is there a runner service?
Yes, we are able to provide a runner service on request.

Are there facilities for long and short term set storage?
We can make arrangements for set storage short term in our scene dock, however any long terms plans will need to be planned in advance.

How much experience do our crews have?
We have crews who are experienced in drama, LE, sport, news and current affairs and classical music programmes.

What is the maximum number of cameras in each studio?
Studio A, up to 10
Studio B, up to 4
Studio 1, up to 4


Can you provide a Jimmy Jib / camera crane?
Yes we have a Scanner Elite crane available for hire with our facilities.
