Description: Capable of fulfilling the most complex and demanding productions the Type 8 has recently been re-equipped with the latest digital technology offering production capability in both Standard and High Definition.

The unit can take up to 16 cameras and its flexible design allows personal configurations to be stored for future visits. The vision mixer has three ME's, digital effects, RAM recorder and 3 DSK's available. Talk back is based around a Reidel matrix offering high quality audio and easy configuration. In the sound gallery a Yamaha PM5D offers 48 channels of assignable mixing power.

Expanding in three stages the Type 8 provides a good production space with an extended production desk and newly designed user configurable operating positions behind.

The VT area comes equiped with up to 8 Digi Beta VTR's and 2 EVS hard disk recording systems. Six playback lines feed into the main production mixer.
