Michael Hart – Audio Supervisor

Michael started his BBC career as audio assistant in January 1985 and has since progressed to Audio Supervisor. During this time he has contributed to the output of the News and Current affairs, Sport, Music and Arts, and Religion departments, both for radio and television.

Michael exhibited great professionalism and while working worked closely with other broadcasting companies during such production as the ‘Eurovision Song Contests’ of 1995 and 1997 and the Euro 96 football tournament as part of the commentary control team.

Locally, Michael has covered local GAA matches in Clones, boxing matches in Dublin.

His television credits include working as SA1 on a range of programmes including co-ordinating and supervising up to 26 radio mics during for Making A Difference and more recently have provided PA coverage for the Patrick Kielty Almost live series.

He has successfully completed two attachments, one as a floor manager with TV and the second as a Resource Engineer in our control room
