STAMMERING

Call it stammering, call it stuttering, whichever word you use, if you are a person who stammers, you’ll probably have difficulty saying it.

Around 1% of the population stammers, about 4 times as many men as women, and while there seems to be no magical cure, there are various therapies and techniques that can help.

One is the Maguire Programme and last year I spoke to one man whose life had been transformed by it and after hearing him on Your Behalf, many people went along to the Information Day.
