SATURDAY, RACE DAY

Steve Plater and William Dunlop won two races each at the North-West 200 with Alastair Seeley claiming victory in the other on a rain-curtailed programme.

Forty-year-old Honda rider Plater won the Superbike race and followed that with the 600 Supersport which was his eighth career win at the North-West.

Dunlop got his first ever North-West win in the opening 250 race and then raced away with the 125 event.

Alastair Seeley won the Superstock before racing was called to a halt.

THURSDAY NIGHT PRACTICE

Qualifying was stopped early on Thursday night due to adverse weather conditions, but two out of the three sessions were completed, if not quite at the speeds achieved on Tuesday night.

TUESDAY NIGHT PRACTICE

All the usual suspects were putting in the fastest time in the first practice session of this year's North West 200 road race, with Christian Elkin, Michael Dunlop, Cameron Donald, Bruce Anstey, Steve Plater et al at the front of the grid in their respective classes.
