On the way there our stately progress in the little red car caused something of a tailback so we were looking forward to hitting some speed. When David was taking us through the controls he said the steering was 'just like a bicycle', well, there any resemblance ended!
We got all togged up in our overalls and crash helmets thinking how hard can it be? What we didn't realise was that because you sit so close to the ground you feel like you are going far faster than you actually are. It was a bit unnerving to start with but by the end of the session we had got the hang of it and were whizzing over land and water trying to get a good time. Who won? You'll have to watch to find out!
