GARY & DANIELLE'S FAVOURITES

HERMITAGE COTTAGE

After a very long day we stayed in this cottage at the bottom of a country garden. We nicknamed the owner, 'Kathryn the Kind' as we were spoiled rotten and that evening Danielle had a pedicure from Kathryn's beauty therapist daughter Rachel Ross.

The following morning we enjoyed a home cooked breakfast. There was homemade chutney, freshly baked bread and free-range eggs, laid by Kathryn's resident hens who were known as 'the ladies'!

BACKGROUND

This studio apartment is situated at the bottom of owner and local chef Kathryn Dinsmore's country garden and has been available for rental for the past 5 years. The property is registered with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO

The cottage is finished to a high standard with a small but well equipped kitchen if guests decide to cater for themselves. Alternatively a full 4 course dinner, or a light supper, can be booked in the main house. The emphasis is on home cooking with many ingredients coming from Kathryn's own, or her neighbours', gardens. Guests can book sessions with the qualified on-site beauty therapist Rachel Ross.
