It had been a full day so we were very happy to roll up the gravel drive to the Grange Lodge. The building is 300 years old and is full of antiques. After receiving a warm welcome from Norah and dropping off our bag in our charming bedroom it was out onto the lawn for a glass of homemade Pimms and a game of croquet.
Ralph and Norah took no prisoners! You'd think they would let their guests win a round but oh no, it was a very competitive couple of hours. To be honest we thought Ralph was making up the rules as he went along!
The next morning's breakfast set us up for the day. Danielle had bacon and mushrooms and I had a bowl of Norah's famous Bushmills porridge. Very tasty!
