Equality
and rights are at the centre of the Good Friday Agreement. The Agreement is
committed to the protection and vindication of the human rights of all as
well as partnership, equality and mutual respect. The Equality Commission
and the Human Rights Commission are the two institutions responsible for
ensuring that the civil, political, social and cultural rights of everyone
