I love to Count by Jacinta Owens

35 pink torpedo pills in a line
crumpled wet bed sheet
lick them
candy-coated liquorice sweets

use them as lipstick
pink to make the boys wink

5 on the floor now
beads lost from a string
waiting to be fixed
still waiting

10 down my throat
toggles from my P5
duffle coat
then glad to be alive

I dress myself now
don't I?

20 back in the jar
haven't gone too far
knock on the door
up off the floor

dinner an hour later
crossword puzzle, 11.30 fader.
