Féile í seo a dhéanann comóradh agus céiliúradh ar an tsraith iomraiteach, ceannródaitheach Father Ted, a raibh an-rachairt air le linn na nochaidí. Ag croí lár na féile tá dhá chomórtas. A Song for Europe - cuimhní 'My lovely horse' agus leis sin, tig an Lovely Girls Competition. Don chéad uair, reachtáladh babhtaí réigiúnacha den Lovely Girls Competition le cinnte a dhéanamh de go mbeidh cailiní ó cheann ceann na tíre ag glacadh páirte sa Chraobh. The second Ted Fest will be held shortly on Inis Mór, Co. Galway. This is a festival that celebrates the famous pioneering 90’s series Father Ted.  At the heart of the Ted Fest there will be two competitions, ‘A Song for Europe’ and ‘The Lovely Girls Competition’.  This year for the first time, Ted Fest organised regional heats for The Lovely Girls Competition in Galway, Belfast, Dublin and Cork.  Siobhán Ní Chiobhain from the BLAS team won the Belfast heat.  She now has the title ‘Belfast Lovely Girl 2008’.  How do you win such a prize, Well Siobhán lets us in on a few secrets…
