Fógraíodh í mar Bhan-Thionscnóir na Bliana ag Gradaim na mBan-Tionscnóirí i Londain ar na mallaibh. An rud atá ceaptha ag an Dr. McLoone ná táirge a chuidíonn le ríomhairí a chosaint ó "hackers" agus bagairtí slándála eile. Buaileann Karen isteach ar Marie i mBéal Feirste.

Dr. Marie McLoone from Queen's University Belfast was recently named Female Inventor of the Year at the British Female Inventors and Innovators Awards.
