Tá Nicholas Carolan ag obair go dian ó 1987 ar aghaidh chun Taisce Cheol Dúchais na hÉireann a chur ar bun. Ins an agallamh seo, insíonn sé do Róisín Ní Chéileachair faoin réimse leathan ceoil atá acu agus faoin a chuid smaointe féin ar an cheol sin.
Nicholas Carolan, originally from Co. Louth, has worked tirelessly since 1987 with RTÉ producer, Harry Bradshaw, to form the Irish Traditional Music Archives which is based at 63 Merrion Square in Dublin and which is open to all. It is supported by An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. In this interview, Nicholas firstly describes how their engineer is constantly out and about around the country, recording traditional music for future generations.
