Maolíosa Stafford

The actor and director Maolíosa Stafford is a native of Galway. He developed his passion for theatre while at Galway University where he became a member of the student drama club. He acted with the Druid theatre from 1978 and was artistic director there for four years in the early nineties. He is wed to an Australian and has lived in Australia for over six years now. He recently returned home to produce a drama in the Taibhdhearc in Galway and to act again with his old colleagues from The Druid. Blas spoke to him before he went on stage at the Gaeity in Dublin.
