The Session Band |

The Session Band is made up of the cream of Irish traditional musicians, who regularly meet to play sessions in Hayden's Bar in The Rock, which attract a considerable following of traditional music enthusiasts.

Jim McKee was born in Cookstown, but for the past ten years he has lived in the Burren in County Clare. Here he draws great artistic inspiration from the wild beauty of this landscape to write his unique songs. He made his debut solo appearance at the 2008 Ballyshannon folk and Traditional Festival and has released an album called 'Just a Piece Of'. |

David Oliver was brought up in Strabane where he showed an early interest in music, joining the school brass band and forming musical groups of his own. He learned the guitar and piano, and he began writing songs. After studying music at Queen's University he began teaching music in England, before giving it up to follow his own musical ambitions.
Now married to fellow singer Cat McGinty, the couple are touring and promoting the album 'Gonna Make My Move'. |

Cantain is made up of former members of the Donaghmore Convent Cór Gaelach. The all-female group take traditional Irish songs and give them an a capella twist, adding new rhythms and harmonies to invigorate old classics. |
