Paula shot to fame following her cover of David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’, which was featured in a television advertisement in 2007, immediately starting a buzz among those who saw it to find out who owned the haunting voice.
A native of Forkhill, Co. Armagh, she uprooted to Dublin to study a communications degree at DCU, while simultaneously recording her debut album. She has performed numerous duets with Jinx Lennon at home and abroad, and names among her influences Patsy Cline, Hank Williams and Bjork. |

This gifted Cullyhanna singer and guitarist often duets with Barry Kerr, and has performed a number of times at the Open House Festival in Belfast. Together with Forkhill singer/songwriter Briege Murphy, Ruairí has performed at many folk festivals, and counts Planxty, Woody Guthrie and Neil Young among his musical influences. His music, while mainly traditional/folk, can incorporate elements of blues, rock and country also, creating an appealing mix of sounds for his eager audience. |

This Bluegrass band consists of Sean McKerr, who has playing mandolin for 20 years; Mel Corry, who like Sean is also a veteran of the Dusty Millers Bluegrass Band and plays the 5–string Banjo. Bill Johnston plays the double bass in an aggressive rockabilly style and has played with Ten Wheels for Jesus and The Soundhogs. Gerry Thompson is known in the traditional music scene as an innovative rhythm guitar player and first-rate dobro player Colin Henry completes the line-up. |

This seven-piece band from Lurgan has amassed remarkable acclaim and a loyal following in just a few years together, impressing fans and critics alike with their harmonic acoustic blues mix in which the influence of Neil Young and Johnny Cash can be detected.
After reaching the semi-final of the talent search TG4 television programme, Deis Roc, the band’s exposure was increased further and they have also been featured on BBC Radio Ulster’s ATL music programme. |
