Operation: Musician Ship

Charlie A CourtRecently a number of top musical artists anchored in Belfast aboard the "Operation Musician Ship". Their mission: to promote the wealth of Nova Scotia music and culture abroad. Acclaimed singer songwriter Charlie A'Court and Executive Director of Music Nova Scotia, Gordon Lapp join BLAS for a song and a chat.

Tháinig cuid de na ceoltóirí is mó cliú agus rachairte san Albain Úr ar thuras go Béal Feirste le gairid lena gceol agus lena gcultúr dúchais a chur chun cinn. Tháinig Charlie A'Court isteach go stiuidéo Blas agus cheol amhrán beo dúinn agus labhair Stiúrthóir Feidhmeannach Ceoil na hAlban Úire Gordon Lapp ar thraidisiúin an cheantair.

A very important part of Nova Scotia culture is the Scottish Gaelic culture, which is inextricicably linked to Irish culture, Lynette Fay asked Gordon Lapp if this was the basis for their trip to Belfast…

Is cuid lárnach de chultúr na hAlban Úire í an Ghaidhlig a bhfuil dlúthbhaint aici le cultúr na hÉireann. An é seo an fáth a bhfuil an turas seo ar bun ag lucht na hAlban Úire? Fiafraíonn Lynette de Gordon Lapp
