Top-class musicians from all over Scotland, Ireland and further
afield descended on the city of Glasgow recently for Celtic Connections,
a festival comprising three weeks of concerts, sessions and workshops,
and a lively celebration of Celtic music and culture.

CLANNAD
As part of the Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow recently,

BREANDÁN
Ó BEAGLAÍOCH
Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall was the venue
for many spectacular performances over the course of the Festival,
including one from The Boys of the Lough. Currently playing
with the band, Breandán Ó Beaglaíoch
has presented TG4's trad music Show 'Geantraí' for
most of its 10-year run. Lynette Fay caught up with Breandán,
one of the kings of Kerry.
