Christina Martin The Mind Matters Public Speaking competition aims to encourage young people to think about mental health issues.The SET region has events on 25 Sept in Bangor and 27th Sept in Ballynahinch, with a final in Downpatrick on 3rd October, the final is open to the public and we would love to see a good crowd! The final takes place in the Great Hall, Downshire Hospital and we are hoping NICCY commissioner Patricia Lewsley will be present. The event starts at 7pm and winners get a place in the Royal College of Psychiatrists' Public Speaking competition, finals on World Mental Health Day, 10th October at W5 in Belfast.
