Origins
Da
says that to understand his origins you have to go back eight hundred
years to the twelfth century when Ireland, a land of saints and scholars,
was subjected to an unprovoked attack by Sasanach English invaders who
set themselves to task of destroying the indigenous Celtic culture that
had existed for centuries and then.....
Politics
Sinn Fein Assembly man. For which the DSS stopped his dole money. A livid
Da denounced the dole clerk's decision as yet another act of discrimination
by an agent of the British Crown. As Da said: 'How can they say being
an Assembly man is work. If I do any work, which is denied, it's voluntary
and anyway, going up to Stormont once a month and slabbering at the loyalists
isn't work at all. In fact it's very pleasurable.'
Fashion
Da has not adapted well to the new Sinn Fein look. He has steadfastly
refused to decommission his tweed jacket and duncher. However, following
his idol Gerry Adams, he still has a beard 'like Gerry's', has glasses
'like Gerry's but fear of the dentist, going back to childhood has prevented
him from having his teeth done 'like Gerry's',
Favourite
hobbies
Phoning Gerry, protesting, agitating and being discriminated against.
