Lol O’Toole (John Henshaw) gets hot under the collar when his latest
client turns out to be the classy and gorgeous, Susannah King (Eva Pope).
Desperate to impress he calls in Eddie and Frank to try and trace Susannah’s
father who deserted her and her late mother when she was just six years
old. It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack but Frank (Tom
Ellis) is determined to find Susannah’s father…even if he
can’t find his own.
Eddie is glad of the diversion of work as his family life goes from bad
to worse. Becca (Emma Vaudrey) and Lol are the only ones who know the
truth over the phantom DNA test and Becca has made Eddie a new appointment
at the clinic.
Luckily for Eddie, Ronnie (Rachel Davies) is too busy dealing with Ange’s
(Christine Tremarco) divorce to notice he’s been a bit edgy lately
and Vera (Elizabeth Spriggs) is getting quite used to the idea of having
a grandson. She even invites Frank to move in with her.
Drowning his sorrows one night Eddie comes up with a cunning plan to
get himself off the hook over the DNA test. Unfortunately he hasn’t
reckoned with the wrath of a wronged wife.
