Was this last episode of Nice Guy Eddie really the last one? It just can't be!
There is really good reason to make a second series because this first one ended like it did! This series has really good reason to continue. Will Frank ever know who his father really is? Will Eddie never tell his family and what will happen between Becca and Frank???

Please, make a second series! We here in Finland would like that very much too!

Hi, Ihave just come across this page and I am so glad that someone else can see the resemblance with Tom Ellis and the late Bernard Bresslaw, his looks and mannerism are so alike i thought that he was his grandson, and like the others PLEASE come back with another Nice Guy Eddie.
This was one of the best that the BBC has produced for quite some time.

As a confirmed "tvholic" I can usually tell what's good, what's crap, and what's plain fantastic and "eddie" definitely falls into the latter. Canceling it will go down as one of the greatest crimes in television history.

Please tell me what I read online is wrong...... My family and I have recently finished watching Nice Guy Eddie on BBC Canada and it has to be one of our favourite programmes. We need another series - or at least an episode to answer the paternity question once and for all. Congrats to all the cast who were superb. Ricky Tomlinson can do no wrong!!!

Why no more Nice Guy Eddie? BBC Can is a breath of fresh air, humour and good acting in the midst of the American wasteland we are constantly bombarded with and Nice Guy Eddie is among the best of BBC programs. more Please.

I attend the theatre a lot. My main TV diet is news/ documetaries. I own a video library and watch some videos. Public taste amazes me. Great movies like "Cookie's Fortune", "Legend of 1900" and "Best In Show" are lost amongst "blockbusters". AND NOW YOU SAY "NICE GUY EDDIE" WILL NOT BE ON VIDEO ?
This serial was, in my opinion the best thing that has been on TV for YEARS!
It was mystery, thriller, drama, comedy and the best cast of characters and ensemble acting since "Hi De Hi" or even "Dad's Army" Quite simply EVERYONE was perfect as a character actor. AM I GOING ON TOO MUCH ? I LOVED IT ! WHERE IS SERIES TWO?

Greetings from the Great White North of Canada!
We very much enjoyed watching Nice Guy Eddie on BBC in Canada.
The show is brilliant! Please produce more series! Please release the 1st Series on DVD. If you're making it available on DVD, please let me know where to find it.
Thanks, Don McGowan, Canada

A bit late in the day I know because I understand there will be no more Nice Guy Eddie - however I feel compelled to say how much I enjoyed the series. I've just finished watching it on BBC Canada. It was quite outstanding. The cast was great - especially the performance of Tom Ellis. The last episode was superb. Real shame this isn't coming back.

What a wonderful series. Please produce another series. Please make the series available on vhs/dvd.
Television of this high quality is in scarce supply and it is worth watching many time.

I am very disappointed to read that you will not be releasing Nice Guy Eddie on DVD. This was a wonderful programme and it was sad that it was cancelled, I would have loved to have had a DVD of the series to watch and show my Brit friends here in Florida. This decision should be reversed.
Sincerely, Barbara Devereau ex pat.

I've just seen the last episode of Nice Guy Eddie and want more! This was one of the best series I've ever seen. Please, make a series 2!

I loved Monday nights with eddie and his mob. Pleeeaaassseee make a second series. No one does comedy series like the poms. They can't just leave us hanging now, we need to know what happens now they've had that kiss.
Thanks jodie, Australia

I have commented earlier but after viewing the final episode last night during which I laughed and cried - sometimes at the same time - I felt compelled to write again to say how cruel it is to leave us dangling. If anyone is listening out there then please do just that - listen. Here's looking forward to a Series 2.
Diana, Australia.

We're shocked to learn that there will be no more Rick T and wonderful ensemble cast delighting us with their great acting. If a series deserved more than one outing this is it!!!!!!!!

Tuesday 07/01/2003 04:14
No second series!! I watched episode 6 which was aired in Australia last night and was looking forward to series 2 to round it off - please don't leave us dangling. This show was pure gold and lightened a usually very dull summer non-ratings period.
Tracee, Brisbane, Australia

I think the show is sensational. We just had the final episode of series 1 here in Australia. How cute it was to have the "Neighbours" theme song. I haven't watched a single episode of that rubbish. How you poms have got sucked in to that trash never ceases to amaze me. Even when I visited "home" 11 years ago, people in North Wales of all places even asked about it .But back to Nice Guy Eddie. What an ending! Surely there must be a series two? Let's hope there is and the ABC here in the land of OZ picks it up. Nothing spoils a good show more than adverts.
Ciao, Owen, Australia

Oh Gawd!
I've just only a half an hour ago watched the final episode of Nice Guy Eddie on the ABC in Australia... me and my 13 year old daughter laughed and cried and called Eddie a b****** throughout the whole hour.
If you people clutching the purse-strings at the BBC with ravaged sinewy claws think that we colonials will hold you close to our hearts by dangling such a beautiful program in front of us and then whisking it away like a glimpse of heaven in a dream then you're arrogantly mistaken.
Nice Guy Eddie is, very conservatively, the most fun I've had on a Monday night since before Garry McDonald had a nervous breakdown.

Have just watched the final episode of Nice Guy Eddie--but what did I just say? The final episode? We don't watch a lot of telly out here 'in the sticks' in Australia, but this was must-see Monday material. PLEASE reconsider. Even a lame second series shot with a B&W video camera would be welcome.
Olav Muurlink

We also CANNOT understand WHY this gem is NOT going into a second season. I'm guessing that your programmers have been talking to one Jonathon Shier, recently driven from our shores for trying to dumb down our National Broadcaster.
We've just viewed the final in the series here in Sydney (Mondays, 8:30pm to 9:30pm,) and feel very sad that it will not return to our screen.
Neil Johnson
Marina Chadiloff, Australia

After stumbling on to this gem, I cannot believe there will not be a second series. Please listen to the comments of your viewers and produce a second series.
Truly, John Horne
