PS, I LOVE YOU (dramatised by Wendy Oberman, from the novel by Cecelia
Ahern) is an emotionally charged story that focuses on a young woman’s
grief following the death of her 30 year old husband.
It is an unashamedly romantic story in which Holly Kennedy (CATHY BELTON),
finds comfort and solace through the letters left to her by, Gerry (DARRAGH
KELLY), a man who though young, had the prescience to prepare the ground
in enable her to get through.
The letters, all of which end, ‘PS I Love You’, are to be
opened on the first day of each month and they chart the course of Holly’s
recovery over the course of her first year of widowhood. Through Gerry's
letters, Holly strives to cope with her loss and in the process rediscovers
independence, friendship and love.
