Awards - Television Drama Festival Awards List 2001-2000

I Was The Cigarette Girl picked up the Bronze Plaque at the Columbus Film Festival (October 2000)
Eureka Street and Ballykissangel picked up three awards at the Irish Film and Television Academy Awards 2000. Eureka Street won the Best Television Drama and also received the Best Craft Achievement award for Photography. Tina Kellegher received the Best Leading Performance award for her role in Ballykissangel V.
Eureka Street and Ballykissangel have received no less than 8
nominations between them in the Irish Film and Television Academy Awards (due to be announced in December). This includes a nomination each for Best Television Drama;Best Leading Performance for the Late Tony Doyle (Ballykissangel) and Best Leading Perfomance for Vincent Regan (Eureka Street)
The late Tony Doyle won Best Actor for Ballykissangel (and ITV's Four Fathers) at the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards (Friday April 7th 2000).
Ballykissangel IV - ep. 2 "He Healeth the Sick" has been named a'Silver Spire Winner' in the Drama 60 minutes or less category at the San Francisco International Film Festival - Golden Gate Awards (20/4 - 4/5/00)
Eureka Street was named a 'Certificate of Merit Winner' in the mini-series category at the San Francisco International Film Festival -Golden Gate Awards (20/4 - 4/5/00)
Eureka Street was shortlisted in the television nominations for the 2000 Celtic Film & Television festival. (Held in Aberystwyth in April 2000)
