Awards - Television Drama Festival Awards List 1996

"Safe & Sound" was nominated for a British Comedy Award (Best New TV Comedy Section) (November 1996).
"Out of the Deep Pan" was nominated for a British Comedy Award (Best TV Drama Category) (November 1996).
"The Precious Blood" was nominated for an International Emmy Award (November 1996).
"Ballykissangel" (Series I) was nominated for a Royal Television Society , Craft and Design Award 1995/96 for Tape and Film Editing for Robin Graham-Scott's work.
"Everybody's Gone" was nominated for a Royal Television Society , Craft and Design Award 1995/96 for Stephen Murphy's music (Best Original Score).
"Dance Lexie Dance" won the Claire Lynch Award at the Cork International Film Festival October 1996 for Best First Film by Irish Director (Director: Tim Loane).
Dervla Kirwan won Most Popular Actress in The National Television Awards 1996 for her performance in "Ballykissangel" (Series 1).
"Dah Dit Dah" was one of the short films selected as Best of the Fest at the Drambuie Edinburgh Film Festival in August 1996.
Shaun Davey won the Ivor Novello award for Best Commissioned Score from a TV/Radio Production for his music in "The Hanging Gale" in May 1996.
