Joris Minn

"I remembered being scared to death just looking at this..."

The Story

Joris remembers a day from his childhood, a journey to France by ship. The ship that would carry Joris to France was not just any ship - it was the SS America, the pride of the United States’ fleet. The SS America looked huge to the average observer. For a young boy it was frightening, yet it gave Joris an exhilarating experience, one that he would never forget.
