Lurgan Junior High School

Preparing for School Report day

Senior Broadcast Journalist Mervyn Jess spent a day with the School Reporters from Lurgan Junior High School. They prepared news reports on obesity, river pollution and even had a behind the scenes look at what goes on in the local Territorial Army Base

The school has a well equipped TV studio, and Mervyn gave the pupils invaluable script-writing advice as well as tips and tricks for interviewing and TV presenting. They were well prepared for their interview with MLA Jim Wells.
