Ashfield Girls' High School

News Day


Pupils from Ashfield Girls' High School made the news for School Report day. The lead story was about obesity. They researched the facts and figures thoroughly and found out some ashtonishing statistics. In Northern Ireland alone, half a million adults are overweight and a further 250,000 are obese. The Health Promotion Agency for Northern Ireland warned that poor choices in eating habits and lifestyle by adults are affecting the health of children as increases in chilldhood obesity emerge.
