What we do

The Planning Office schedules all BBC Northern Ireland programmes from the Commissioning stage through to the evening of transmission.

We issue the "informative, short, snappy and grammatically correct" billings you provide us with, always in good time for the press days and times we have to meet! Initially they are sent to BDS (Broadcasting Data Services), however we make sure the listings magazines and newspapers have them in good time as well.

We ensure Compliance forms, if required, are submitted pre-transmission.

We also issue UIDs (unique identifiers for your TV programmes) and Radio programmes numbers.
