BBCNI requires ideas for high-impact factual content - contemporary as well as historical - that will shine a light on Northern Ireland's present, past and future.  We want programmes that surprise, engage and inspire our audiences.  We expect these programmes to have the widest appeal; BBC One is the shop window for the BBC and must appeal to a broad mainstream audience.  In addition, the BBC in Northern Ireland needs to provide high-impact programmes that enhance the offering to local audiences.
