BBC Blast Northern Ireland - One 2 Watch Documentary Challenge

"Blast’s ‘One 2 Watch Documentary Challenge’ gives young people the chance to produce their very own documentary working alongside BBC film crews, using BBC equipment and finishing it all off in BBC edit suites.

One 2 Watch encourages young people to follow the same creative process which BBC producers work though to get their ideas on TV and involves them pitching an idea for a short documentary to a BBC panel of experts, with the winner getting to make their documentary with a BBC crew.

Young people from schools and colleges as well as groups of friends have submitted ideas over the past few years and benefitted from professional mentoring, equipment, editing staff and facilities.

The culture of skateboarding, an Olympic hopeful and a much loved children’s author have all been featured in the final pieces that you can take a look at below."
