It is widely thought that Mr. Quigley has been in severe financial
difficulty for several months and this could
be a reason for his disappearance.
On hearing the news Quigley's daughter Niamh Dillon returned
to Ballykissangel from London. Mrs Dillon spoke to the New
Full Colour Examiner "I am positive that my father
is still alive and that he'll turn up".
Parish Priest, Fr Mac also believes that Quigley is well.
"It's inconceivable that he'd walk in to the sea".
The Dooley's are too worried about the whereabouts of Brian
and the consequences it may have on their future. Oonagh Dooley
said "Quigley owns Fitzgerald's so we could loose the
pub and our home".
Gardai are urging anyone who sees Mr Quigley to contact Cilldargan
Police. Quigley's family and friends are positive that he
will turn up somewhere.
