Gardai
have disclosed that a number of men are being held in custody
following a chase with a car carrying a large chest of caviar.
The caviar is said to be worth almost a quarter of a million
pounds on the black market.
The chase
was witnessed by two local men who wanted to be identified
only as Liam and Donal - “Because that’s our names”, commented
one. They described the chase in which a was stopped by Gardai
and a number of men were arrested.
The two
witnesses were shovelling sand onto the beach from the back
of a lorry at the time.

the beach. It is believed that the Gardai may have broken
a high powered fish egg ring.
