The Ballykissangel Examiner has been overwhelmed by the response it received inviting you to send questions to Kieran Prendiville, the creator of Ballykissangel .

Over the last few week's Kieran has been extremely busy answering the many varied questions. He was delighted to take the time out from his busy scheduled to reply to you, the fans.

The questions came from all over the world - Japan, USA and Australia to name but a few. "All the e-mail's reinforced to me just how popular Ballykissangel is outside the UK."

Since leaving the show Kieran has admitted that he is not as much of an avid viewer now as he used to be. "Of course I'm still interested but just not as much now" he commented.

In the interview section of this weeks edition Kieran goes into great depth to answer the questions that you've always wanted to ask.

Not surprisingly, alot of the fans asked about Assumpta and Fr Peter and there subsequent departure from the show.

However Kieran also deals with more general questions about Ballyk. One fan from Essex asks "What gave you the idea?" Another fan, Gerry Hale wants to know "which episode gave you the most trouble writing?"

Inside this special edition of The Examiner, you'll also find out that Niamh and Ambrose's son was named after Kieran Prendiville and that Kieran used to present 'Tomorrow's World' and contribute to 'That's Life'
. There's all this and much more inside.
