Fears are mounting in Ballykissangel today over the condition of local Garda Ambrose Egan. A search party set off earlier when it was discovered that Mr. Egan had failed to appear for work. As The Examiner went to press it was learned that Mr. Egan may have been involved in an accident at Durrus Head.
Garda Egan was recently seen at a party hosted by Mr. Sean Dillon. It is understood that he left the party alone. His wife remained until the early hours. The disappearance of Garda Egan came to light when he failed to turn in for work. Inspector Foley of Cilldargan visited the Egan home and it is believed that he spoke with Mrs Niamh Egan - Ambrose's wife.
