Daddy G replaced

Grinne and Dermot Dooley
Fantasy Ballykissangel continues by Bronnagh Gallagher.

Since the untimely death of Daddy G, Dónal O Docherty and Liam Coghlan have done their best to rectify the situation with Gráinne
Dooley

As Daddy G was Gráinne Dooley’s pet, the two lads decided that the best thing to do would be to bury the goat for her.
It is reported that Ms. Dooley picked a nice spot overlooking the lake for the burial. In the interim a new goat has been purchased for Grainne. Locals reported that Paul Dooley insisted that the two lads paid for it.

Seemingly, Liam and Dónal asked Fr. Sheehan for advice on proper burial procedures. Fr. Sheehan was "brief" in his description, but told them exactly what they needed to hear. It is reported that Mr. Dooley was satisfied that his daughter had been compensated and was overheard saying to Liam and

Dónal “Hey, would the pair of youse get over here and stop acting like you killed the missus or something!” by way of a peace offering. Grainne Dooley was seen yesterday with her new pet up in Avril Burkes stables. No name has been decided for the new goat yet.

Other news: Fr. Sheehan continues to live at Ms. Avril Burke’s house until Fr Mac finds a new home for him. A local source told the examiner that he comes in to Hendley’s shop each day to stack up on “real food” as Ms. Burke is a known health food fanatic.

Mrs Óonagh Dooley is away for a week, so Mr. Paul Dooley is looking after the cooking in Fitzgerald’s. We have been reliably informed that the cuisine is an acquired taste and Mr. Dooley’s surprise sandwiches have to be seen (and tasted) to be believed. We asked one of the regulars, Mr. Louis Dargan what he thought, but unfortunately the tape seemed a bit garbled.
