Just
last month BBC Northern Ireland gave me the opportunity to
look at the nuts and bolts of Ballykissangel.
At 8.30am on a crisp September morning I was raring to go.
The
series is mostly shot in Avoca, Co.Wicklow (for exteriors)
and Ardmore Studios, just outside Dublin (for the interiors).
I set off with my camera, Digital Audio Tape, Digital Video
Camera and an autograph book ... phew! for an adventure around
the Ballykissangel set at Ardmore Studios.

Fitzgerald's
Bar - Come in for the craic. It's everything
you'd expect and more. I got to see it all - from the
loos to the kitchen and a pint of the black stuff.

Lights,
camera, action!
Studio B was a hive of activity. Get a glimpse inside
the studio, a flavour of the atmosphere and a look at
some of the technical equipment.

Out
and about at Ardmore Studios. Have a sneaky
look around the back yard. It's all there from a bath
to the riggers' van.
