Articlave village, Coleraine
Articlave has always been associated with the supernatural. In the 1930s the Articlave poltergeist became the most famous poltergeist in Ireland. A reporter by the name of JP Donnelly was sent from Dublin to cover it. The reporter stayed with a Presbyterian family at their small farm- the young girl was called Laura and each night as she went to bed she was pinched and her bed shaken by the unseen spirit. Donnelly spent the night with them and witnessed the bed shaking.
