Strange Tales

Spirits in the Scouts' Hall

Mark
Moira, Lisburn

I used to be part of the Scouts, which met in the old St John's Hall in the Main Street. One Halloween we were all in the hall with the lights out, when the door into the hall flung open. We all looked at the wide open door and then saw that the main doors which lead to the hall were closed. We hollered out names of ghosts (Casper, Lady Moira - who is supposed to haunt Moira). I decided to see what opened the door. I expected it to be one of our scout leaders, but unless he flung the door open and quickly hid before we could see him I don't think it's possible. So what made the door open like that?
