Banks
Of The Foyle Halloween Festival
Since
1986 the Banks of the Foyle Halloween Carnival has become one of Northern
Ireland’s leading annual events, attracting thousands to the streets
of the City in a spectacle full of fun and colour. This
year the Halloween festival continues to offer an programme with something
for everyone, young and old, featuring events from 24th - 31st October
to help you get into the Halloween Carnival spirit.

Halloween at W5
It's
that time of year - when the veil between our world and that of the next
becomes thin enough to allow all sorts of ghosts, goblins and witches
to enter. Scary? Not really - at W5 Hallowe'en means fun! Ireland's first
and only interactive and discovery centre at Odyssey this Hallowe'en promises
a thrilling and monstrous experience with events to entertain all the
family!

Halloween
Festival at Carnfunnock Country Park
Dress up in your favourite costume and join us
for an evening of family entertainment and surprises. The fireworks display
is a fantastic finale to the evening, lighting up the sky over Carnfunnock.
Hallowe'en fun and games, children's entertainment, fancy dress competitions
and music from local boy band Klass, charity stalls in the walled garden,
a 'Thriller' set from Tribal Dance Company and much more - not forgetting
the thrilling, chilling Ghost Train Ride on the miniature railway. Tickets

& South Tyrone
The Halloween celebrations
in Dungannon this year offer a fantastic feast for all ages with a ghoulish
array of scary shenanigans, street entertainment, music, fun and fabulous
fireworks. Loads of fun events and activities including children’s
storytelling with Jim McKeown for 5 to 9 year olds, walkabout & street
entertainment balloon modelling and face painting, football shoot out
hoop-la attraction & inflatable darts and of course, there will be
the highlight: the fancy dress competition. Come along and get invloved
in fun for all the family.

SPOOKY SOUND POETRY
WORKSHOPS: Saturday 28th October is jam-packed with mischief-making and
fancy-dress activities for all the family, kicking off with 'Spooky Sound
Poetry' workshops at local venues Greystone Library and and Crumlin Community
Centre. Talented poet performer Chelley McLear will enchant young participants
aged 7-10 years with famously eerie children's poems, encouraging them
to celebrate Halloween's ghosties and ghouls through poetry, drama and
performance in their very best scary costumes… The 'Spooky Sound Workshops'
run from 11am-noon at Greystone Library and 2-3pm at
Crumlin Community Centre and are presented by Community Arts 'Poetry Please!
Club. Places are limited to only fifteen per workshop and are going fast,

CREEPY
CINEMA SHOWS: On Saturday evening, why not enjoy some scary film screenings
at the ARCHES House, Main Street, Randalstown. Belfast-based Cinemagic
Ltd are presenting two special outreach films in partnership with Antrim
Borough Council for the young and the brave. 'The Little Vampire' starts
at 6pm, a fabulous live action comic caper about a little boy called Tony
and his hilarious adventures with mischievous vampire best friend Rudolph!
This is followed at 8pm by the wonderful acclaimed animated film 'The
Corpse Bride'. Made by renowned director Tim Burton (The Nightmare Before
Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow), this award-winning enchanting
film tells the tale of a young man who ends up mistakenly marrying a very
scary bride indeed! The Corpse Bride received rave reviews when it premiered
earlier this year and is sure to appeal to film-buff adults as well as
the kids. Families are encouraged to truly get into the spirit of the
evening and come along in Halloween costumes….
Film
screenings are free and suitable for children aged 8+ years but numbers

Halloween Extravaganza at Enniskillen Castle
Enniskillen Castle will host Ghoulish entertainers,
Halloween spooks, magic show, treasure trails, face painting (Charge applies),
Halloween Craft workshop, fire blowers, story-telling, bouncy castle,
fancy dress and more. Start your trick-or-treating at Enniskillen Castle
with free loot bag for all those in fancy dress.

The famous Halloween fireworks return to Seapark this year for the traditional
display on 28th October.

Family Festival at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum
A variety of activities traditionally associated
with the festival of Halloween for children and adults, including apple
games, cabbage reading (fortune telling), and Halloween craft activities.
