Weapons of Dancefloor Destruction
Coburn
With their brand new single 'Razorblade' destroying dancefloors the world over, Great Stuff Recordings' Coburn unveil their Weapons Of Dancefloor Destruction...

1. The Klaxons - Gravity's Rainbow - Soulwax remix (Polydor)
Yet another kick-ass mix from Soulwax. The Klaxons record is chewed up and spat out re-inforced with a titanium body-funk groove and some seriously wonky sounds.

2. Coburn - Razorblade (Great Stuff)
Shameless plug no.483a: this record has been described as "Kylie on acid", phat remixes from Malente and especially Play Paul - though we always play the original (natch!).

3. Pornocult - Shining Star - Coburn remix (Incentive)
(More subtle) shameless plug no.483b - we seriously devoured the original mix and brought a bit of Coburn rock'n'roll electro flavour to the proceedings. Play loud.

4. Coburn - Rolling Stoned (CD_R)
Yep, us again, blatant plug: The Temptations: "Pappa was a rolling stone" has been cheekily re-jigged at the Coburn HQ. AND they let us use the sample. Still can't believe it! The B-line is one of our larger ones, some serious air movement...

5. Bloc Party - I still remember - Speak Junk Bass Bin remix (V2)
Garble up the original Bloc Party tune, then add late-night heads-down vibe and throw at any unsuspecting dance-floor for explosive results. Wicked.
