Weapons of Dancefloor Destruction
Camroc
This week's Weapons Of Dancefloor Destruction comes from one of the nu-breed of Irish producers making waves around the world. Introducing Cormac McCorry aka Camroc...

1. Bigger Than Jesus - Itchy Glitchy Spider - Fergie Remix (Silver Planet)
You want a dance floor destroyer? Well here it is! Geordie boys BTJ hand over remix duties to Fergie who has come out the other side with a monster! Big kick, driving bassline and percussion push this track along like a freight train. This is his best work yet!

2. Camroc - Wrong Way Round (Mon U Digital)
One of the tracks from my new EP forthcoming on Mon U Digital. This has a big sub bass lying underneath a tough kick, which will shake you from the inside out Prepare to be turned the Wrong Way Round!

3. Matthew Dear - Lakonic (Spectral Sound)
Mr Dear hits all the right notes again with this one. Simply yet effective is the name of the game here with pads dropping in and out and a hook that's guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face.

4. Projekt 3 - Big Beef - BTJ Remix (Mon U Digital)
Projekt 3 are the Mon U labels head boys, Jus Phil and Cesco and they have called in the Bigger Than Jesus boys to do their thing on the remix. Their Bopping & Popping rework demonstrates both an intense, groovy, driving and clicky percussive rhythm, which resembles a famous Plasticman track. These guys are on a roll at the minute!

5. Namito - Upload (Ostfunk)
A producer who's tracks regularly pop up in my sets. A tight kick and straightforward percussion give way to a dirty hook, which reminds me of Pig & Dan - Deliverance, not a bad thing either. Throw a few blips and bleeps in for good measure and hey presto, simple yet devastating!
