Resident jock in pretty much every major venue in Northern Ireland, Nik Muzka of the Plastic Surgeons drops some deep knowledge to ATL Online. 1. Million Dan - Mik Chek - Million Dappa This track is guaranteed to have the rumps shakin on any dancefloor. Anyone who remebers 'Dogz n sledges' (a tune which never leaves my bag) will know what to expect, a bassline-led club banger. Also worth a mention is the ragga fused 'Spektrum Ride'. 2. Elektrons - Classic Cliche (Wahoo remix) - Wall of Sound The original oozes 80's soul and you can see how it would fit perfect with the electric chair ethos but i've opted for the wahoo remix which drops some of the vocal and ups the tempo creating a housier vibe thanks to the solid bass drum and hypnotic rhythms. 3. Tes La Rok - Bass 31 - 3.5 Make sure your fillings are secure because this is a BASS monster. Another great dubstep track from Tes La Rok who's getting a lot of good press recently. The flip includes 'Darkness Falls Upon Us' which has been doing damage across dancefloors for the last few months. 4. Inflagranti - Additional Alpha Blocker - Speak Though the title track is of the highest quality its the flip 'Effective Placebo Effect' that catches my ear with its low slung, synth soaked disco vibe that the french do so damn well. 5. Dave Gahan - Kingdom - Mute A strong EP with some great remixes but the stand out track for me is the Booka Shade dub remix for a deeper more moody sound coupled with echoed vocal hits giving an eerie feel to the track. | ||
