Rear back and reap the recommendations of the man behind AJ Suzuki and Jupiter Ace in the latest installment of the ATL Dance Six Pack. 1. The Ian Carey Project - Get Shaky (Vandalism Mix) GFab Not for the first time, I've got Vandalism at number one- but I can't help it! This is just a ROCKING tune Vandalism always provide the massive dancefloor hooks that a lot of their Electro House counterparts seem to lack. 2. The Drill - Piano Mano Destined Very simple, but very effective. The Drill give us a catchy piano hook (pianos seem to be back in vogue) and follow it up with a stupidly simple idea on the drop which just works. Wasn't sure about this one initially but dancefloor tests revealed a unanimous thumbs up! 3. Jupiter Ace - Believe White This is the first in a string of new Jupiter Ace tracks listen to the show for the complicated story of how it came about. It features Errol Reid (Axwell Feel The Vibe) on vocals and represents what the Jupiter Ace sound is in 2008! Watch this space for more productions. 4. Dabruck & Klein - Comeback Of A Hero Superstar Dabruck & Klein up their game even further here with a top-class slice of Electro House. Not really a peak time track, but gets feet moving early on. D&K continue to push the boundaries of the genre 5. Axwell, Bob Sinclar & Ron Carroll - What A Wonderful World Defected What a wonderful tune. It's always nice to hear Ron Carroll's vocals (remember Superfunk's Lucky Star?) and here they are complemented nicely by Sinclar's Afrobeat sensibilities and Axwell's classy production. 6. Wolfgang Gartner - Montezuma Kindergarten Wolfgang Gartner seems to be one of the new golden boys of the House scene at the moment, and Montezuma is a good reason why. Not only is his style very fresh sounding, with flavours of Breaks coming through, but this tune definitely gets asses wiggling. More of this please! | ||
