The Lost Brothers
Lost Brothers and Brendan Benson
Tyrone/Navan folksters The Lost Brothers have been working on material with Detroit rock legend and former Raconteurs co-frontman Brendan Benson. The two-piece announced at the beginning of the year that their second album, So Long John Fante, would be released mid 2011. Since then the band have travelled to America, played the SXSW Festival and recorded another album with Brendan.

The album was recorded in Nashville in Benson's personal studio and features Old Crow Medicine Show, The Cardinals and Benson himself. So far no details are available on a release date.

The Lost Brothers were also invited to the estate of Roy Orbison when in Nashville and were asked to contribute a cover version by his wife for a special 75th anniversary release.
